Shift Your Beliefs, Change Your Life

Everything we do in life comes from our belief system. I challenge you to think of something that isn’t related back to a belief you have about the world, others, success, image, etc. And of course, what we believe about any of these things is what we’re going to create for our lives.

If you believe that people in your town are terrible drivers, your brain will seek out those terrible drivers to validate your beliefs. If you believe that the world is going in the toilet, you’ll focus on the negative news stories we’re being fed. And if you believe that you can’t be successful in your career, no matter what you do, you will hone in on the challenges you have at work instead of looking for the good.

Luckily, it’s possible to change. It’s about using the cornerstones of psychology to shift your mindset.
