Flexible Goals for Better Mental Health

Goals are an important part of your growth, in every role of your life. But setting a goal doesn’t necessarily set it in stone. And that’s okay!

I like to say that flexibility is the key to mental health and acceptance is the door. We set goals and start working toward them, but life happens. Not every goal is meant to be accomplished in a rigid timeframe. In fact, sometimes we need to let goals go altogether. Understanding this and being flexible around goals helps to take care of our mental health.

On this week’s video, I’m sharing how to take that big, audacious goal and make it feel a little less daunting. I’m not giving you step-by-step instructions on how to do this but rather the mindset shift you need.

Listen in as I share why flexibility is so important when you’re setting and working toward your goals so you don’t end up stuck in a trap you set for yourself.
